i think governor romney starts with a challenge which is florida, north carolina, and colorado. if he can win those three, and i think he's got a decent chance in all, although the president hasn't given up on colorado and florida, then he needs to find a couple other -- a couple of options, one is to just win ohio. if he can't win ohio, and virginia also, he needs to win virginia also, okay, if he can't win ohio he needs to find another way. states of the three polls you showed as well as pennsylvania, michigan, he needs to offset a loss in ohio. ohio's the simplest and most competitive the reason they're looking at other options they can't count on ohio. if they can put our building blocks in place, they need find one or two other states, may or may not include ohio. >> and chris cillizza, iowa and wisconsin could be the alternatives to ohio, could they not? >> absolutely, andrea. but, mark's right. what's hard is the easiest substitution is pennsylvania or michigan. they're more or roughly the same number of electoral votes. there isn't another ohio on the map. you would need
